Okay!!! Sooo . . . 18 months is a little long. But, but, but . . . I've been busy. At what? Oh, have you heard of a rewrite? I now have a new understanding of that dirty word! However, it is (I have learned) a great way to become a better writer. Really! It is. I promise.
Each time I finished a rewrite, I thought I'd go back through it and check for errors, typos and such . . . you know. Well, it's amazing how many ways I saw to better my writing -- things like expanding scenes to complete them, revealing the inner feelings of the characters and in a couple of instances, adding new scenes. The book is much better than it was 18 months ago.
I now have an editor and maybe a new outlet for marketing the book. Check back in another 18 months and see how I've done. Oh, really now! 18 months. Just kidding -- I hope. Give me a month or so.
